Christoff and Sumner selected for
Girls National Youth Championships

The Preston Lions Football Club is proud to announce that
Lionesses Kate Christoff and
Sarah Sumner have been selected
to represent Victoria's Under 17 side
in the Girls National Youth Championships in Coffs Harbour.
Christoff a central defender and
Sumner a midfielder have worked
hard for their place in the
state squad as well as holding down key positions in
the Lions senior womens
side that are currently competing for a place in this
years
finals series. Former Lioness
Elly Curo has also been selected for
the state team.
The
tournament will run from July 5-12 and
the players selected will engage in a battle with
the nation’s best.
Congratulations to all players and we
wish them the best of luck as we all will be watching
their progress.
