The Preston Lions Football Club wishes
to announce that it has appointed Zoran Trajceski as the new senior coach
for the 2009 Victorian Premier League season.
This will be
Trajceski's second stint as coach of the Preston Lions
Football Club. In 2004 he led the Lions to fourth spot on
the ladder before being eliminated by Altona Magic in the
Elimination Final.
Trajceski as a footballer played in Macedonia for thirteen
years
and also represented Preston Lions in the old National
Soccer League in 1992/1993 and a further three years when
the Lions moved to the
Victorian Premier League.
In recent years Trajceski has worked hard in promoting
sides to the Victorian Premier League, having led
Springvale White Eagles in 2006 and Dandenong Thunder in
2008,
both from State League One to the
Premier League.
"Its great to
be back at the club and I look forward to the challenge in
the season ahead in the (Victorian) Premier League"
Trajceski said. "The club is celebrating its 50th
Anniversary this year which brings added incentive to do
well this season for the clubs sponsors, members and
supporters".
