The Preston Lions Football Club would like to congratulate
Nicholas Schwal for taking out the club's 2008 Best
and Fairest Award.
Schwal's performance in the second half
of the season made him a stand out player who's

way through the season to a finals berth. Captain
Tony Sterjovski and Michael
Bosevski were awarded Joint Runners Up
Best and Fairest
Chris Toleski
was awarded Best and Fairest for the Under 21's squad

Goalscorer award with ten goals, as was
Dejan Milevski for the Under 21's squad.
The

coach Nick Cuculeski and his Under 21's squad on their achievements in 2008,
finishing fourth in the Under 21's competition
even with many matches that were cancelled due to pitch
conditions.
The club is proud that it has provided
a clear pathway for Preston Lions players to move from
juniors to under 21's to seniors.
Players that were given the opportunity in the seniors in
2008 include Toleski, Micovski and Najdovski. Other
players that have also made the jump from Preston juniors
