JUNIOR TEAMS AT PRESTON LIONS IN 2010
Currently the Preston Lions Football Club will be
fielding junior teams in the following age
groups:
BOYS AND GIRLS
- SSF
Under 11's (Training:
WED and FRI
6.00pm)
- SSF Under 11's (Training: TUE and THU
6.30pm)
PLEASE NOTE: We are finalising our structure for

BOYS
- Under 12's A Grade (Training:
WED and FRI
6.00pm)
- Under 14's A Grade (Training: WED and FRI
6.30pm) ***Changed from TUE and THU***
- Under 15's A Grade (Training: TUE and THU
7.00pm)
- Under 16's A Grade (Training: TUE and THU

PLEASE NOTE:
- The club will NOT field an Under 18's team in
2010.
The
juniors will participate in the Central/Northern
Zone and will train and play their home games at
B.T. Connor Reserve.

TRAINING - SSF U11's and UNDER 12's
Pre-Season training will be held every Tuesday and
Thursday for SSF Under 11's at 6.30pm and every
Wednesday and Friday at 6.00pm for Under 12's at B.T. Connor Reserve.
Players are required to be at the ground 15
minutes before training commences, and are
expected to bring both runners and football boots,
a water bottle, shin guards, and appropriate
clothing.

Victoria's (FFV) "A Grade" junior competition in
the Central/Northern Zone.
All
players from 2009 as well as new players are
welcome.
TRAINING - UNDER 14's

Under 16's at 6.30pm at B.T. Connor Reserve.
Players are required to be at the ground 15

expected to bring both runners and football boots,
a water bottle, shin guards, and appropriate
clothing.

Both coach's are highly experienced and accredited
and will work towards developing and nurturing
junior players towards the club's pathway to its
Under 21's and Senior squads.
Both
of these teams will compete in Football Federation
Victoria's (FFV) "A Grade" junior competitions in
the Central/Northern Zone.
The
club is investing heavily towards its junior
program in 2010, and is currently working with
many stakeholders to improve facilities. Already
in partnership with Darebin Council one of our
junior pitches has been re-laid with a new
surface.
All
players from 2009 as well as new players are
welcome.

girls teams.

Unfortunately we are unable to hold a registration
day for 2010, however registration forms and fees
can be handed to a club representative during
training nights.
