supports Geelong Soccer Club in raising funds for bushfire
victims

The Preston
Lions Football Club is asking its members and supporters
to support the communities affected by the devastating
bushfires in Victoria.
This weekend Geelong Soccer Club will host three friendly
matches which includes Victorian powerhouse Preston Lions
FC against fellow Victorian Premier League rival Altona
Magic in both Seniors and Under 21's, and Sydenham against
locals Geelong Soccer Club.
Spectators
will be asked to donate a gold coin as an entry fee to
support the communities affected by the devastating
bushfires.
"The news of
the devastation is meet with shock and disbelief of the
loss of lives and properties in Victoria" said club
Secretary Pece Siljanovski. "Our community is one of many
that have been affected by these bushfires as reports
state that a Macedonian Church in Kinglake has succumbed
to the ferocious fires". "Football brings people of all
walks of life together and we hope that there is a large
turnout this Saturday to raise much needed funds for the
communities affected". "Our sympathy and heartfelt wishes
go to all those who have suffered."

the Australian Red Cross Bushfire Appeal can be made at

Blood
donations are also required to support burns victims.
